SHORTY: Something better exists

About 2 decades ago, I wrote some copy for an ad.  "Something better exists, but you can't have it."

With Buddhism, I'd change it to:
Something better exists, but you can have it.

One of the issues is that most people think nothing exists beyond sense pleasures ("sense" here includes both pleasing physical sensations and pleasing thoughts). If that's all you know, then that's what you'll go for.

If all you know is crappy vegetarian food, how can you even imagine the alternative?

Well, by luck or good fortune, you "taste" something that doesn't fit into your existing knowledge. Suddenly something new exists.

May you someday taste something that goes beyond thoughts and rationales and physical pleasures.  If you do, may you believe it can be achieved through actions and development. And lastly, may you have the ability to put in those actions and efforts and development to achieve it.

PS, related: "the finger is not the moon"
